Meet Jen Orlando

I specialize in individual therapy for creative people, artists, and the curious wanting to reconnect with their inner sense of joy and intuition. Feeling stuck, creatively unfulfilled, or disconnected from a creative practice or passion? Let’s talk! I offer talk therapy tools as well as somatic techniques and EMDR therapy, helping you to connect thoughts and emotions with sensations and physical experiences for holistic healing.

I also offer support around anxiety/stress, trauma, depression, self-worth issues, identity challenges, and life transitions, as well as recovery after exploitation and post-cult involvement. Many of us creative folks have had a run-in with a wellness cult, MLM, or the opportunistic grifter. Let’s explore self-development within the therapeutic container of healthy interpersonal boundaries and power dynamics. You don’t have to feel shame or guilt for wanting to improve your life!

Healing Through Radical Collaboration and Wild Solidarity.

The ghost pipe thrives by forming a symbiotic relationship to its environment. Unable to draw nutrients from the sun, this unique flower relies upon underground networks of fungi and tree roots instead. Healing is ultimately relational work, whether we’re transforming how to relate to ourselves, others, or our environment. Soft Landings values a collaborative approach to therapy, and builds upon shared decision-making, shared accountability, and empowerment. Thank you for taking this rest stop on your road of healing and trusting me to support you on your journey.

Ghost pipe represents the relational aspect of healing, and importance of safe, therapeutic container and trusted therapist.

“Let us honor our wounds as invitations to risky collaborations we might not otherwise attempt”
